We made friends.  Some were Spanish and some were not.  Some were American and some were not.  Some spoke English and some did not.  We have included pictures of some of them, but not all of them. 

Chris and Valerie. One is from the southern portion and the other is from the northern portion of California.

Diana and David. They are both professors, one on the west coast and one on the east coast of the United States of America.

The Rayo Aneas fútbol club. They all spoke Spanish.

Anya and Violet. They both spoke English.

Theresa and Chris. They are married to each other.

Jane and Pete. They are married to other people, not pictured here.

Jonah and Felix. They spoke English to each other.

Jonah and Mariam. They spoke Spanish to each other.

Leigh and David. They are the parents of Ruby and Felix.

Anya and Ruby and Luz. They spoke Spanish to each other.

Skinny shoulders. All bilingual.

Cheris is from the U.S.A. Therese is from Ireland.

A friendship was formed through discussions (in Castellano) about education.

At our intercambio we spoke Spanish and English.

Our Spanish friends were welcoming, generous, friendly and warm!  What was up with these people who had no reservations about inviting us into their homes, feeding us elaborate meals, and bestowing upon us besos y abrazos?
