We had talked about going overseas, bringing the kids there, and living in this place while they were young.  This was years ago, before we had kids, and so even though we were talking, we had no idea what we were talking about.

More years went by, and now it’s time.  Anya is 10 and Jonah is 7.  Everyone is older than we’ve ever been.  It isn’t a dream come true, even though it feels unreal and unformed, almost as if it is happening to another family.  Nevertheless, the plane is leaving and we plan to be on it.  The time is now.  The place is Spain.  The blog begins….
